 SHAVE ICE

     Shave ice is a local favorite which consists of finely shavings of ice topped with a variety of tropical flavors such ascoconut, mango, strawberry, passion fruit, blueberry, lychee, guava, papaya, orange, and many more.  Add some extra favorites such as vanilla ice cream, azuki beans and condensed milk, ling hing powder and locals call it “ono” or delicious!  One of our favorites by our own Hawaii born President Barack Obama!

HAWAIIAN FOODS 

Hawaiian luaus love to serve a variety of Hawaiian dishes such as poi, lomilomi salmon, kalua pig, haupia (coconut pudding), poki (fresh seasoned fish), squid luau, chicken long rice, pineapples, and haupia cake for dessert.  

BENTOS

– local platter to go consisting of steamed rice topped with furikake, teriyaki meet, spam, fish, chicken, and pickled radish.  Ideal for people on the go

 SAIMIN
